On Saturday, Denise called me with the sudden, random desire to drive up to Duluth that night. I told her I was in. After waking up and having some breakfast on Sunday, we drove up the
North Shore Scenic Drive. And right in downtown Duluth, we visited the somewhat-less-than-impressive
Fond-du-Luth Casino. Not only was it pretty dumpy, it literally felt like it was 100 degrees inside.

I was also obligated to check out a landmark from my youth, the Radisson with the revolving restaurant. Oddly enough, I remember it being
MUCH bigger when I was a kid! On the way home that night, we also stopped at the
Black Bear Casino.
